Japanese car maker Honda has unveiled new 2013 Accord Sedan and Accord Coupe models.
The new 2013 Honda Accord will be offered in three different engines including a 2.4 liter inline four-cylinder with direct injection will produce about 181 horse power (HP) mated to a CVT or a six-speed manual, which will be provided for the entry-level version.
The 3.5 litre V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission will produce around 271 HP, while the other is a plug-in hybrid that will use a 2 litre i-VTEC Atkinson four-cylinder and an electric CVT.
The new model will also feature forward-collision and lane-departure warning technology, blind-spot detection and standard reversing-camera.
The company said that smart interior packaging will allow for increased passenger and cargo space in both the sedan and coupe, while the overall exterior lengths are noticeably shortened, contributing to a sportier driving character and easier parking.
