The Dad's Choice Awards are being launched this year - giving dads the chance to show the kind of toys and games they like to play with their children.
Set up by entrepreneur David Ross, he has recruited a team of dad testers who, with the help of their children, will put the toys entered through their paces.
Toys will be evaluated on their creativity, fun factor, value for money and whether they live up to the hype on the box. Each manufacturer will receive and evaluation report at the end with comments from the testers.
The Dad's Choice Awards 2013 are open to any toy, game, puzzle, app and electronic device which meets the category criteria. Toys must be released in the UK and available for sale between January 1st 2013 and December 31st 2013. They should be suitable for children aged 0-14 years.
There are a range of categories including Remote Control Toys; Electronic; Arts and Crafts; Apps; Board Games; Stocking Fillers; Puzzles; Sport; Models; and Action Figures to name just a few.
