China's Daily Output of Welded Pipes Rise by 12% From a Month Ago

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China’s daily output of welded pipes averaged at 150,333 tons in June, rising by 12% from a month ago and increasing by 6% year on year.

In June, the country’s welded steel pipe production totaled 4.51 million tons, hitting the highest level since September, 2012. In the first half of this year, China’s production of welded steel pipes amounted to 23.9 million tons, rising by 11% year on year, boosted by the fact that all production capacity is commissioned during 2012 and 2013.
