The MUNICH FABRIC START is one of the leading international trade fairs for apparel fabrics and accessories. Two trade fairs each year count more than 850 exhibitors from all over the world and about 18,500 professional visitors come to the great “Season-Opening” in Munich.
Already for the second time in this year the Human Solutions Group presents their products at the Munich Order Center. The central themes of the Group are size & fit optimization and increasing productivity and efficiency — enabling the apparel industry to reduce its time-to-market and costs.
Vidya, the leading 3D simulation software by Assyst showcases a wide variety of new features at the MUNICHFABRICSTART 2013 from September, 3-5 2013 in hall H4 at booth no. C15. The focus thereby is on material simulation and user-friendliness.
Vidya 20.13 comes with an extensive population of scanatars and fashion manikins. And the animation aspect has also been expanded. Fabric textures, images and applications can be directly integrated into a running simulation. Vidya now also images glossy structures, partial gloss and iridescent effects, crease effects and tone-on-tone patterns. Preliminary CAD work is getting easier! Multiple sewing, for example, generates significant time savings.
Vidya is the only 3D system that can be seamlessly integrated into the fashion process. The quality of the simulation program is based on the realistic interaction of human beings, materials and cuts. The software uses original cut data from CAD and the representative body sizes and shapes from serial measurement surveys. It also provides a high degree of authenticity in material imagery and behavior. Around two-thirds of all apparel models can be optimally simulated today in Vidya.
