NMDC Will Be in Charge of The Basic Infrastructure for This Mega Mill

It’s reported that India is having the ambition to build the first gigantic steel mill with 12 million tons per annum capacity a step in the direction to achieve 300 million tons capacity by 2025. The Indian state-owned miner National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) will be in charge of the basic infrastructure for this mega mill. This investment is said to be able to recoup India its impression of an investment friendly country as Korean Posco and ArcelorMittal had recently abandoned their big projects in building the steel mills in India. In 2010, NMDC had already inked an agreement to jointly construct a 3 million tons per annum steel mill with a Russian steel producer.
