US-based Consolidated Container Company (CCC) has announced its proposal to buy all of the assets of Roffe Container, a plastic container manufacturer in Moorhead, Minnesota, US.
CCC, which develops and manufactures rigid plastic packaging solutions said it will also commence the installation and build-out of a multi-line production plant in Lakeville, Minnesota by signing a separate lease for a manufacturing site. The initial build-out is expected to be completed by mid-2013.
The acquisition expands the company's network into one of the few geographic areas where it does not have a presence.
According to CCC, the addition of the Moorhead facility and the opening of a greenfield in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area will enhance the company's ability to serve key regional and national customers in the dairy and industrial markets in the Upper Great Lakes and Northern Great Plains regions.
