Yorkshire Baker plans to set up a new production plant in Ryedale, Yorkshire, UK, to address the increasing demand for its products.
The company has received approval from the Ryedale District Council for the construction of the plant, which will produce meat-based pasty products.
Yorkshire Baker, which has outgrown its existing production base, plans expand its existing product lines and introduce new ranges with the new facility. Yorkshire Baker has partnered with Hull-based Cranswick, which supply the meat for its products, reported Foodmanufacture.co.uk.
Trundley Design Services will take up the plant construction, which is expected to be completed in January.
The new facility, which will be located at Yorkshire Baker's base in Norton Grove Industrial Estate, is expected to create 300 new jobs.
