Trina Solar Limited, now offers Building-Integrated PV solutions (BIPV) for residential and commercial roofs. These solutions have obtained specific certifications from the CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Batiment) in France.
These BIPV solutions are offered together with a range of mounting partners such as K2 Systems, SolarSit, Easyroof, Marchegay, Voltabri and Mecosun with whom Trina Solar has already set up the largest commercial rooftop solar installation in Switzerland.

"The French and Swiss markets are very relevant for us and show a good growth, allowing Trina Solar to have won the largest inroof project in Switzerland."
In Switzerland, Trina Solar partners with the BIPV specialist Mecosun to offer cutting edge building integrated PV solutions based on Trina Solar's leading Honey technology modules and Mecosun's MV€ inroof solution. Together, Trina Solar and Mecosun have provided the substantial part of the largest roof integrated PV system, employing high efficiency Honey modules combined with Mecosun's MV€ inroof system. The system, deployed on the roofs of S?gewerke Christen AG's production and storage buildings in Luthern in the canton of Lucerne, has an installed capacity of 900kWp and produces up to 6,000kWh of solar energy per day. This makes the company the first self-sufficient and carbon neutral sawmill in Switzerland.
