It is reported that ArcelorMittal announced to continue to keeping one of its two hot-dip galvanizing lines in Avilés, northern Spain due to weak demand from the construction sector in domestic market.

However, the hot-dip galvanizing lines are designed a annual production capacity to 250,000 tons but the line is idled since November 2011 till now.

Meanwhile, the company has no any further plan to restart the hot-dip galvanizing lines unless there is improving of the steel demand for construction sector in domestic market.
