New Magna Pure 96 System Is Introduced by Roche for Nucleic Acid Extraction

Roche has introduced new CE certified IVD version of the MagNA Pure 96 system, designed for extracting nucleic acid.

The MagNA Pure 96 system, which can purify a broad spectrum of human samples, provides laboratory information management system (LIMS) connectivity for safer and more convenient data transfer.

The system utilizes few number of consumables to purify nucleic acids from up to 96 clinical samples in less than 60 minutes.

The company said instrument performance characteristics of MagNA Pure system have been established in external trials with model parameters.

Roche qPCR and nucleic acid purification business head Gerd Haberhausen with the CE-marked IVD version, the MagNA Pure 96 system is suitable for diagnostic applications in clinical labs.

"This is an important fact for Clinical Research Organizations that operate globally and who need to ensure that clinical trials are based on tools providing consistent quality as well as for global institutions conducting medical research and molecular diagnostic testing," Haberhausen added.
