MAS Holdings Hosted a Morning Forum for Business Partners

MAS Holdings hosted a morning forum and felicitation dinner for business partners from their supply chain and service providers.

The objective of the event was to share MAS's 2020 plans to synergize mutual business ambitions, and appreciate the valued partnerships which have contributed to MAS' successes over the past 25 years.

The theme of "&" was aptly used to signify MAS's relationship with the business partners; with "strong bonds" between two entities built over time and forged by trust. By emphasising the bonds with their business partners MAS showed gratitude towards their contribution. The '&' symbol was the icon signifying this partnership.

The morning session under the theme "Synergy & Progress" focused on discussing the MAS 2020 roadmap and the global capabilities needed to deliver an eco-system that would enhance future engagement.

They also elaborated on the key pillars of the MAS of the future and the collaboration sought from the business partners; as well as sharing the Divisional Sourcing and Supply Chain strategies that have unique identities and requirements. The morning session closed with a panel discussion on the specific subject areas taken up in the morning, and also general queries on the Divisions and Initiatives.

The gala felicitation ceremony and dinner was themed "Tributes & Thank You's". It was a celebration of partnerships with the highlight being the felicitation of 37 business partners who have collaborated with MAS for over 15 years, and 20 business partners who have worked with MAS for more than 20 years.

Prof. Carlos Cordon, Lego Professor of Supply Chain Management at IMD Business School in Switzerland, was especially flown in to give a key note speech on this occasion. The evening culminated with a fashion show, showcasing the capabilities for MAS.
