Pan Asian Leaders Visited Zf in Shanghai

With the increasingly fierce market competition, the increasingly complex product structure and increasingly customers’ demands, how to enhance competitiveness by technology innovation and cost optimization is the common goal of ZF and Pan Asian.

With the promotion of automatic driving and intelligent network concept car, automotive steering system also achieves upgrade from the traditional hydraulic steering to electronic steering technology. Through the core components homemade, ZF continues to increase electronic hardware and software development resources investment, and further enhance the ability to localize the development. The company will work with the Pan Asia Company in GEM global project to design and optimize the whole process in electric power steering joint development.

Under the ZF executive levels’ companion, Pan Asian leaders and experts visited the company's production site laboratory and Technology Center, and they spoke highly of the EPSdp rack production line and EPSapa assembly line. After they knew the laboratory won the ‘National Approval Laboratory’, Pan Asian leaders affirmed the management and test ability of the laboratory.

After the visit, ZF and Pan Asian hold a meeting. ZF R&D senior manager Xu Jianguo made a report of general project cost reduce and efficient increase plan and key project design and optimization, especially the introduction of GEM project design and optimization. The GEM project shows a new generation of future EPSc products industry benchmark and the development of a new generation of EPSc system based on the model.

Pan Asian leaders also gave some advice to the projects. They hoped to adhere to the analysis of the value project in advance to the various aspects of product development, to promote to do things right in time, but also to learn from the complaint and constantly improve technology.
