Crawford&Company has appointed James Devall as vice president and managing director of its London-fronted business in the US.
In his new role,Devall will be responsible for all business coming from the London insurance market to Crawford's US Property&Casualty operation and will work closely with Crawford's sales and claims teams.
Devall will also work with UK-based London market team and will assist clients and firm to develop new business.
Devall will report to Philip Porter,senior vice president of US Property&Casualty and will be based in the Company's service center in Dallas,Texas,US.
Porter said,"In his 30 years in the insurance industry,Jim has built a strong reputation for quality program business management in London,and we are fortunate to have him at Crawford to take responsibility for this increasingly important market."
In addition to serving at a major worldwide claims management organization,Devall served as vice president and director of excess and specialty services.
Devall also served as vice president and national account executive and assistant vice president and regional manager as well as claims adjuster at Crawford.
