JBT FoodTech,an American food processing machinery provider owned by JBT,has signed a freezing equipment supply contract worth$6m with a food processing company in US.
Under the deal,JBT FoodTech will supply and install the freezers and refrigeration systems.
JBT FoodTech Food Solutions and Services Division vice president and division manager Torbjorn Arvidsson said the deal is an example of how the company offers freezing solutions with higher capacity and lower operating costs to its customers globally.
The project is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2014.
JBT designs,manufactures,tests and services technological advanced systems and products for industrial food processing customers through its JBT FoodTech segment and JBT AeroTech segment.It operates in about 25 countries globally.
