ACBPS Terminated The Antidumping Investigation Regarding Aluminum Zinc

The Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBPS) has announced that it has terminated the antidumping investigation regarding aluminum zinc coated steel imports from Taiwan.

The ACBPS has found that there has been no dumping by Yieh Phui Enterprise Co. Ltd of aluminum zinc coated steel exported from Taiwan and there has been no dumping by any other exporters of aluminum zinc coated steel from Taiwan and therefore the volume of aluminum zinc coated steel exported to Australia from Taiwan that have been dumped is negligible.

Dumping securities are no longer required from May 2, 2013 for imports of aluminum zinc coated steel exported from Taiwan. Dumping securities already collected for the relevant imports from these exporters will be cancelled.

In September 2012, Australia initiated an antidumping investigation regarding aluminum zinc coated steel imports from China, South Korea and Taiwan, following an application lodged by Australian flat steel producer BlueScope Steel Limited.
