US-based software company Acsis has introduced the new ‘Serialization in a Box’ solution for pharma industry that identifies, applies and captures the data needed for compliance with California’s upcoming 2015 e-pedigree mandate.
The solution, which includes Acsis Serialization Management Software, Domino Printers and Cognex Vision and ID products, applies and captures serialization data at the unit, bundle, carton and pallet level.
According to the company, the Serialization in a Box enables pharmaceutical companies to comply with all domestic and international serialization mandates.
The solution provides serialization functionality for managing serialized as well as non-serialized product simultaneously; aggregating and de-aggregating product across all packaging levels; and the commissioning and decommissioning of serialized data as required.
Serialization in a Box's Site Management module provides a flexible serialization architecture with better functionality, and the Line Management module provides oversight and management of an individual packaging line.
The Line Management module integrates with the Site Management solution to provide bi-directional transfer of information between the site and the line level, when there exist multiple packaging lines in one facility.
