According to the press report, China’s new energy vehicles sales and production was expected to breakthrough to 650 thousand units in 2016, up by 79% year on year.
In 2015, our new energy vehicles production is 379 thousand units, and the permeability is 1.35%.
In the first half year, the sales and production of new energy vehicles are all 170 thousand units, up by 125% and 126.9% year on year. According to DONGXING Securities analysis, the production is continuing to increase and they are all expected to breakthrough 650 thousand units in the second half year.
In the segment vehicles, DONGXING Securities thought that the cars sales and production can achieve 390 thousand units, up by 80% year on year. In the big cities, the license plates are under the strict management and control, 150 thousand license plates support the new energy cars sales and production.
New energy buses sales and production are hopeful to achieve 140 thousand units and the growth of 20%. In the first half year, the buses production is 600 thousand, and the permeability is 13.4%. But the growth of 6-8 meters new energy buses declined, thus maybe affects the growth of new energy buses sales and production.
DONGXING look to further increase of the new energy special vehicles. In 2016, its production and sales are hopeful to achieve 120 thousand units, up by 150% year on year. According to the report, pushed by national allowance, electric special vehicles full life cycle economy are obvious. Once special vehicles are into the allowance content, their volume will strength in the second half year.
In the future five years, new energy vehicles production will booth rapidly. In 2020, new energy vehicles will be hopeful to 2.9 million units, and the permeability will reach to 13.4%.
There are four factors affect the new energy rapid growth. First of all, energy safety strategy and emission standards make necessary to develop new energy vehicles. Secondly, national and regional allowance policies push the development of new energy vehicles. Thirdly, low cost makes electric vehicles popular. The last one is charging measurement constructions accelerate purchase desire.
