Maruti Suzuki unveiled a revamped version of Swift with improved fuel efficiency when compared to its predecessor.
The car is powered by 1248cc DDiS 190 diesel engine capable of producing 75 horsepower and pump 190Nm of torque.
Maruti is also introducing a petrol variant of the car which will be powered by 1197cc K series VVT engine capable of producing 84.3 horsepower and pump 115Nm of torque.
The car will feature new bumper, grille, bezel fog lamps and will have alloy wheels with sporty silver accents.
Maruti has added new features like push start button, premium upholstery, reverse parking sensor ORVMs with turn indicators, and Electromagnetic back door opener.
Maruti Suzuki India executive director marketing & sales R.S. Kalsi said: "The Swift now comes with improved fuel efficiency of 10% and a rich equipment list like push start button, a 60:40 split rear seat, electric retractable outside mirrors, reverse parking sensor etc."
