Poland-China-World Economic Forum on Central and Eastern Europe Was Held in Hilton Hotel

On 26th April, Poland – China – World Economic Forum on Central and Eastern Europe was held in Hilton Hotel, Warsaw, Poland. More than 1000 guests participated in this forum, including Wen Jiabao, the Premier of the state council of the People’s Republic of China and Polish Prime Minister Tusk, leaders of the Chinese and Polish governments and 360 representatives of different enterprises. XCMG was invited to attend the forum as the only enterprise of the construction and machinery industry. As the representative of XCMG, Mr Peng Lidong, business manager based in Poland, was cordially received by and had a photo taken with Premier Wen. The Central and Eastern Europe has 16 countries with a population of 160 million, covering an area of 1/3 of the whole Europe. It is of urgent need to build infrastructure such as airports, railways, bridges and expressways, which provides China’s construction and machinery industry with rare opportunities for export. With great insight, as early as 2007, XCMG established a Polish XCMG Assembly Plant in Lowicz, Lodz, actively promoting the “localization” of products. In 2011, XCMG acquired two enterprises manufacturing core parts so as to improve its own industrial chain. Nowadays, surpassing KOMATSU and CAT, XCMG loaders have the largest market share in Poland.
