The Yield of Steel Pipe Has a Increase by Vyksa Steel Works in H1

Russian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, has announced its production results for June and the first half of the current year.

Accordingly, in the January-June period Vyksa Steel Works' output of steel pipes amounted to 790,000 mt, up 20 percent year on year, including 403,600 mt of large diameter pipes, up 33 percent year on year. In June alone, Vyksa Steel Works produced 136,000 mt of steel pipes, up 48 percent, including 74,000 mt of large diameter pipes, up 64 percent, both year on year.

In the first six months of the current year, Vyksa Steel Works' output of railway wheels decreased by seven percent year on year to 390,000 wheels. In June alone, Vyksa Steel Works produced 70,000 railway wheels, up 12 percent compared to June 2012.

Also, the company produced 278,000 mt of flat steel in the January-June period of this year. In June alone, Vyksa Steel Works produced 60,000 mt of flat products.
