The English Open Cup Subbuteo tournament will be held on Saturday, March 16th at Futsal in Birmingham.
The English Subbuteo Association announced the event on its website.
Kicking off at 9.30am, the event will crown English Champions and be used as the main selection process for the FISTF World Cup, the competiton is open to everyone and is compiled of four categories.
U15s, Open, Veteran and International tournaments will each be based on the five-round Swiss system format, in which all participants will be guaranteed five matches throughout the day.
Already attracting interest from the local media, the Association hopes to make this event the most prestigious on the ESA calendar, now that the Futsal arena has been secured.
