Exactech, a developer of bone and joint restoration products, and Conmed have partnered to co-develop a series of medical education programs to advance standard of care for patients across the continuum of shoulder and knee repair.
Under the collaboration, both the companies plan to leverage their combined expertise to provide medical education programs that address advancements in patient care from early arthroscopic intervention to total joint replacement technologies and techniques.
Conmed said the co-developed programs will take place at its subsidiary, Conmed Linvatec's Center for Orthopaedic Education in Largo, Florida, US, which opened earlier in 2012.
A quarterly schedule of programs is being developed for introduction in early 2013.
