Baosteel Predicts The Steel Market Will Expect to Improve This Year

It is reported that China’s Baosteel predicts the steel market will expect to improve this year but the steel production capacity will keep flat due to overcapacity problem would remain serious. The company is optimize to see the demand of its products move forward in 2013 especially for exports would account for 10% of the company's steel output in 2013. China’s total steel exports were unlikely to increase significantly due to more international trade restrictions. Nevertheless, Baosteel is also expecting to produce about 21.49 million tons of iron and 22.56 million tons of steel in 2013 respectively.
