Swiss Cotton Rainbow–Revolution in dyeing technology
Swiss Cotton Rainbow is based on a pre-treated cotton yarn, which dyes much deeper during the dyeing process than untreated cotton. If the Rainbow yarn is processed together with untreated yarn, the woven or knitted patterns can be made visible in any desired colour after piece or garment dyeing.
By blending Rainbow treated fibers with regular, untreated cotton,a mélange(heather)yarn in Rainbow technology can be produced. The mélange yarns can be package, piece or garment dyed. Thanks to Rainbow, dyeing can take place much later in the production process, which simplifies the production of colour variants:delivery times are significantly reduced, small quantities are possible and dyed yarn waste is avoided.Rainbow cotton also offers considerable ecological advantages and meets the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 plus.
Hermann Bühler(Switzerland)and Buhler Quality Yarns(USA)are specialized in the production of high quality yarns manufactured from extra long staple cotton,Micro Modal Edelweiss and Micro Tencel.
