CleanBallast ballast water treatment technology from RWO will be installed on four new 4800 TEU vessels being built in China for Germany’s Hansa Shipping. “We trust that the technical solution of the RWO system, using a reliable, powerful and redundant filtration system together with the well proven electrochemical disinfection unit, will bring us the benefit of meeting even stricter requirements than the present ones, ” said Dejan Golub, superintendent of Hansa Shipping GmbH & Co KG. RWO’sWWT-LC plants will also be installed for onboard sewage treatment, along with SKIT/S-DEB oil-water separators to treat oily water.
