The Turkish Rebar Index Increased for The Second Consecutive Week

In the week from August 11 to August 17, on the Orbis Steel Index the scrap indexes moved upwards. In the given week, the Turkish rebar index increased for the second consecutive week, while the Turkish flat rolled product indexes showed both sideways and downward movement.

As per the Orbis Steel Index data, the index movements in the week from August 11 to August 17 as per product are as follows:

Turkish Scrap Index increased by 1.61 percent to 152.55 compared to the previous week.

US (East Coast) HMS I/II Scrap Export Index moved upwards, with the index value rising 2.96 percent week on week to 164.

Turkish Rebar Index continued to increase, with the index value rising 0.59 percent week on week to 132.37.

Turkish HRC Index switched to sideways movement in the given week. The index value stayed at 100.

Black Sea HRC Export Index moved downwards, with the index value falling 0.47 percent to 102.13 compared to the previous week.

Turkish HDG Index maintained downward movement, with the index value declining 0.32 percent week on week to 100.

Turkish CRC Index started to move sideways. The index value remained at 94.52.
