US-based consumer product developer CD3 Holdings is planning to introduce a new potato chip maker, Ronco Chip-Tastic. The maker allows users to make the potato chips in the microwave.
The Chip-Tastic will create potato or sweet potato chips with a third less calories and without the use of preservatives and additives.
Chiptastic allows controlled consumption of ingredients such as little salt and seasoning as desired, creating perfect, nutritious custom chips, said the company. The product will also work with apples, pears, and mangos to make fruit crisps.
Ronco Sales and Marketing VP Eydie Webster said that Chip-Tastic will change consumer's perspective about the best selling snack potato chips in America.
