INKA Has Revamped Its Range of Ovens with a Complete Redesign

Charcoal oven manufacturer INKA has revamped its range of ovens with a complete redesign, the addition of a number of new cooking features, and a move to UK manufacturing to improve lead time for customers.

Inka Redesigns Charcoal Ovens Following Move to Uk Manufacturing

Product details:

INKA Charcoal Ovens give foodservice businesses the ability to recreate the barbeque taste in the constraints of an indoor commercial kitchen.

Almost a year after the product’s launch in the UK, INKA has moved the manufacturing process from Spain to the UK, taking the opportunity to redesign the oven atheistically and from a quality prospective.

The move to UK manufacturing will help INKA to improve the efficiency of the supply chain and manufacturing process, reducing the lead-time for customers from an average of 5-6 weeks to 2-3 weeks.

New features:

The new-look INKA Charcoal Ovens now feature a polished, mirror finish; a super thick and efficient steel shell and firebox along with a stainless steel dome spring handle which prevents heat transfer from the oven and allows users full control.

In addition, rather than use cast iron for the grate, the new Inka uses a robust, hardwearing 12mm laser cut, mild steel grate. This prolongs the grates life and avoids the inevitable replacement of cast iron due to cracks.

The door features specialist high temperature glass that can cope with temperatures in excess of 750 degrees, and allows chefs to keep an eye on the food as well as the coals.  Thanks to a full two-year manufacturers guarantee, caterers can be assured the oven will continually produce consistently high quality dishes for years to come.

Availability:

The new range of INKA Charcoal ovens are available now in three different sizes to suit every kitchen. The largest P900S model has a cooking capacity of 60kg per hour; the P600 has a cooking capacity of 45kg per hour whilst the smallest, the P300, is ideal for small satellite kitchens, mobile kitchens or even a domestic setting.

Cost:

The P900S and P600 models come in at  7900 and  6250 respectively. These prices are quoted excluding VAT but inclusive of delivery and packaging.

Each oven comes with grill shelves and an ember spade, whilst customers have an option to incorporate a specially designed stand with or without cupboards.

Why you should buy it:

Franco Sotgiu, managing director for INKA Charcoal Ovens UK, said: “We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome of the stunning new design. Having received fantastic feedback from chefs using INKA Charcoal Ovens in their day-to-day operation, we wanted to make this a truly British Oven.

“We have worked extremely hard since the first UK prototype was produced just four months ago and are now pleased to announce, that after stringent testing, the new range is ready.

“We have even tested the ovens up to a temperature of 1000 degrees just to ensure all the components of the oven can withstand the toughest use – although we don’t recommend cooking at that temperature!”
