Sterilizable medical devices and diagnostics packaging supplier Technipaq has opened a new warehouse facility in Illinois, US.
The new 45,000ft2 plant will be used for warehousing, distribution and raw material storage.
This additional space gives Technipaq 100,000 ft2 space for manufacturing, warehouse and office, and will provide it with increased production capabilities in the new manufacturing unit.
Technipaq Sales and Marketing vice president Brian Rosenburg said that the company needs to maintain large inventories of all itsr raw materials and products, to make sure that the customers' orders are available for immediate delivery.
"The new building will help us continue to offer our clients fast turnaround and short lead times," Rosenburg added.
Technipaq, an ISO certified manufacturer of flexible packaging for healthcare and specialized industries, handles the laminating, slitting, sheeting, diecutting, fabricating, and flexographic printing of pouches, lids and rollstock produced in a variety of sizes from foil, film, Tyvek and paper laminates.
