Japanese carmaker Nissan has unveiled the 2013 Altima at the New York International auto show being held in US.
The Altima will be offered with two powertrain options which include the 2.5 litre four-cylinder engine which will generate 182hp and 180lbft torque while deliver a fuel economy of 38mpg on the highway.
Its 3.5-liter V6 engine version will produce 270hp and 258lbft of torque while both the versions are mated to the continuously variable transmissions (CVT)
The company said that the 2.5litre models will be equipped 16-inch steel wheels and 215/60R16 all-season tires, or 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 215/55R17 tires while 3.5 litre models will feature 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 235/45R18 tires.
Nissan said that the Altima will go on sale in July at a starting price of $21,500.
