US-based equity investment firm Madison Dearborn Partners has agreed to buy the US-based print-based packaging supplier Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS), from Irving Place Capital for an undisclosed value.
MPS chief executive officer Marc Shore said the collaboration with will help the company to capitalize on the significant opportunities available to expand, besides developing its business.
"MDP has substantial experience in the packaging industry and our new partnership will allow us to accelerate growth while continuing to provide high-quality products and outstanding service to our global customers," Shore added.
Madison's experience in supporting packaging businesses is expected to be an asset to MPS as it enters into its next growth phase.
MPS manufactures printed folding cartons, labels, and inserts for customers in the healthcare, consumer, and media end markets. It operates 16 manufacturing facilities in the US and Europe.
