The 21st edition of the international apparel and textile fair Baltic Textile + Leather, held at the largest Baltic state of Lithuania's capital Vilnius, was attended by around 200 participants from more than 21countries.
The trade fair, which is touted as one of the biggest exhibitions of the entire Baltic region, served as a meeting ground for the textile businesses of Scandinavian and CIS countries.
The event exhibited several products, such as fashion and casual wear, home and technical textiles, as well as trims and accessories by various manufacturers from the Baltic states, Belarus, Northern Europe, Russia, Turkey, Portugal and Italy.
Conferences, seminars and presentations on topics like corporate social responsibility in apparel and textile sector, ecological and ethical textiles, intelligent apparel and textile sourcing and production nearby Europe, as well as sales opportunities in Russia were organized on the sidelines of the fair.
The event also hosted a number of fashion shows by various established and upcoming talents.
