Trade Resources Industry Views Pack-Partners Was Established in 2007

Pack-Partners Was Established in 2007

Pack-Partners was established in 2007 when it became obvious that the packaging supply chain was confronting a constantly evolving, competitive market place and the traditional  "do it in house"  paradigm was being challenged in many organisations. Outsourcing was fast becoming a way of life for many companies.

The founding trio originally called themselves OFPA. Ofpa is not an easy word to say, so it was sidelined for the more professional Pack-Partners, which may or may not have helped the company to thrive.

What most certainly did help is that to join the company you have to have a minimum of thirty years' experience in your chosen area of expertise.

The entry requirements remained unchanged. So when the business lost founding member, Pete Nicholas, last year, it began to search for another long term packaging professional. John Savage's 35 years in the industry means he joins Pack-Partners with extensive experience in packaging related sales and marketing around the globe, having operated from bases in Australia and Europe.

Savage's appointment also gives the company representation in all the eastern states as he is located in Sydney. Bryan Nugent is in Brisbane and Robin Tuckerman, in Melbourne.

Pack-Partners is a trio again and will continue to use its in-depth knowledge about the Australian flexible packaging, rigid packaging, bioplastics and food service industries to provide business, market and competitor analysis, access to new technologies and support with business growth strategies.
