According to data released by the Chinese customs, China’s exports of finished steel products totaled 5.15 million tons in July, falling by 140,000 tons from a month ago but rising by 19.21% year on year.
In July, the country’s imports of finished steel products totaled 1.18 million tons, increasing by 100,000 tons from a month ago and rising by 1.72% year on year.
In the first seven months of this year, China’s exports of finished steel products amounted to 35.83 million tons, rising by 13.7% year on year.
In the given period of time, the country imported 8.01 million tons of finished steel products, down by 1.3% year on year.
