Global Cellphone Sales Broke 420 Million in 2013 Q1

According to the global cellphone market investigation from Gartner, global cellphone sale was 42,582 in  2013 Q1, increasing by 0.7 Y-O-Y. Samrt-phone's global sale was 21,004, increasing by 42.9% Y-O-Y and it takes a 49.3% share in cellphone market, higher than that of same period last year.

Looking from different areas, Asia Pacific region' sales increase by 6.4% Y-O-Y. On the contrary, north America's sales decilned 9.5%;Japan's declined by 7.3%; Midde and South America's declined by 3.6% and EMEA's declined by 3.6% Y-O-Y.

Asia Pacific region' sales was 226 million, taking 53.1% of global sales. China's saels increasing by 7.5%.

From the point of cellphones makers, Korea Samsung's sales was 1.0065 billion, increasing by 12.7% Y-O-Y and Samsung has stay in the first place for 5 quarters. Nokia sold 6.321 million cellphones, ranking second. Its market share declined from 19.7% to 14.8%. Apple ranked third and its sales was 3.833 million. LG ranked fourth, followed by ZTE and Huawei.

Besides, Samsung sell 6.474 million smart-phones and its market share increased from 27.6% to 30.8%. The second is Aplle with a sales of 3.833 million. LG ranked third and sold 1.008 smartphones.With a 4.4% market share, ZTE ranked fourth, followed by Huawei.

Google Android system's market share increase from 56.9% to 74.4% and iOS decilned from 22.5% to 18.2%.The following is Blackberry, Bada and Symbian.
