German fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) company Henkel will unveil its new Eticol labeling adhesives, which serve as a solution for flexible bottle labeling and are said to contribute to enhanced sustainability and budget security for bottlers.
According to Henkel, the borax and zinc-free casein-based Eticol technology is characterized by bonding power and is based on natural polymers obtained from the raw material casein.
The entire range, which is available with high wet tack and ice-water resistance, is defined by good bonding behavior on moist and cold bottle surfaces and if condensation forms on the glass, the labels also stick to the bottle properly.
Even at maximum speeds the adhesives can be used in conjunction with labeling machines easily and the products show long exhibited characteristics when the labels are removed in the bottle cleaner.
Henkel claims that the company continues its support towards the beverage industry by launching the next generation of labeling adhesives.
