The lighting industry has gathered in Philadelphia this week for Lightfair International 2013 (23-25 April) the annual trade show and conference.
The architectural and commercial lighting trade show, hosted at Pennsylvania Convention Center, features more than 500 exhibitors spanning 200,000 square feet. Lightfair’s conference programme features three days of seminars and conference workshops.
LightFEST, which takes place tonight (23 April), will see attendees gather for a ‘light show’ to celebrate the opening day of the trade show. The audience will watch a performance by iLuminate which will incorporate light, music and dance.
On the evening of Wednesday, 24 April, the 30th Annual IALD International Lighting Design Awards, hosted at Philadelphia’s Crystal Tea Room, will honour the work of lighting designers.
