In CPP Division Coillte Increased Turnover in The 2011 Financial Year by 6%

In its Coillte Panel Products (CPP) division Coillte increased turnover in the 2011 financial year by 6% to €154m. The export rate in the wood-based panels sector reached roughly 90%. Great Britain, which represents the most important export market, accounted for 59% of the division‘s turnover, though there was only slight year-on-year revenue growth there of 1.5%. In contrast, turnover in other European markets showed considerable growth of 21%. Coillte attributes this in part to increased sales efforts in those markets during the last financial year. In addition, the CPP division launched several new product versions on the market in 2011, including the so-called Tricoya-MDF, which is made from acetylated wood. Source: euwid-wood-products
