Indian automobile firm Tata Motors has launched the new Xenon Pick-up commercial vehicle in India, which will be offered in both single cab and dual cab versions.
The new Pick-up is offered with two powertrain options including 3.0litre Common Rail and Turbo Direct-Injection engine, which generates an output of 72hp and 223nm torque in the single cab as well as 115hp and 300nm torque in the dual cab version.
According to the carmaker, the both the single and double cab variants will offer a top speed of 120kmph.
The Tata Xenon single cab variant is equipped with 2-stage semi elliptical leaf in the rear suspension, which improves load carrying ability and improves ride comfort and handling, the carmaker said.
The dual cab variant features HVAC, power windows, central locking and limited slip differential, which opposes wheel spin on gravel or muddy roads, and enhances vehicle control.
Safety features of the new Xenon Pick-up include the 3-layered body construction, crumple zones, a collapsible steering column, central locking, retractable seatbelts and side intrusion beams which will guard passengers during side impact collision.
Tata Motors' Pick-up portfolio also includes RX Pick-up in the Large Pick-up segment and the Super Ace, in the Small Pick-up segment.
