Pleasant Kids Oncluded an Agreement for Five Million BPA Free 8oz Bottles

US-based bottled water manufacturer Pleasant Kids has concluded a manufacturing and supply purchase agreement for five million BPA free 8oz bottles.

According to the company, completion of agreement represents a key milestone to secure distribution for its products to regional and national grocery and restaurant chains.

Under the terms of agreement, Pleasant Kid has received its first 125,000 bottles of BPA free containers. The agreement enables the company to record revenues of over $2m.

For distribution of products, the company has identified key retail sectors including mass merchandisers and club stores where it can distribute 25% of its products.

Grocery stores will have 30% of the products from Pleasant Kid, convenience stores with health and natural product themes (15%), drug stores (10%), and food services sector (20%).

Initially, the company will focus on sales and marketing of its products in Florida and California.

Pleasant Kid CEO Robert Rico said the company is eying contractual agreements with major grocery distribution associations in the US.

"As part of our agreement Pleasant Kids designed and manufactured its own custom 8oz mold," Rico added.

"Our containers display our trademark name and copyrighted characters."
