Ryder System, a provider of supply chain management solutions, has opened a new vehicle sales center in Vancouver, British Columbia, US.
The company said that the center will offer used truck inventory for sale in Vancouver area and is its first vehicle sales location in British Columbia.
Ryder's used vehicle inventory features commercial and heavy-duty vehicles including tractors, trailers, straight trucks, panel and cube vans, refrigerated trucks and stake trucks.
Ryder director of asset management Michael Cagney said that the Surrey facility allows the company to serve its British Columbia customers and accommodate the increasing demand for quality used vehicles in the Greater Vancouver area.
"With this new location, we can conveniently provide businesses with affordable, professionally-maintained used vehicles to support their needs,"Cagney said.
To date, Ryder sold over 19,000 vehicles a year from over 55 used vehicle sales centers across North America, including seven in Canada.
