Forum Packaging Has Invested More Than ?1m in Its Business Operations Over The Past Year

Paper sacks manufacturer in the UK Forum Packaging has invested more than £1m in its business operations over the past one year to improve buildings, machinery and supply chain.

Forum Packaging has bought a new fleet of three 44-tonne side trailers for £150,000. The vehicles are manufactured and liveried by Don-Bur near Stoke-on-Trent, thisislincolnshire.co.uk reported.

The vehicles, which are an addition to the fleet of vehicles provided by Bibby Distribution, will be used for transporting paper sack packaging and the company's new Minipak bags for the retail flour industry.

Forum Packaging managing director Mark Spivey said the investment was made in response to an expanding client base.

"The expansion of our fleet underlines our original commitment when we took this business over last year to invest consistently," Spivey added.

Forum Packaging manufactures paper sacks and bags and also provides flexo pre-print and flexo laminate for the European corrugated industry.
