VariBlend has purchased Hutt automatic fill and final assembly equipment to support the production of 20mm MiniMix beauty packaging product.
As part of the partnership with Cosmax, VariBlend will install one of the HUTT systems at Cosmax’s Solon, Ohio headquarters.
The second system will be installed in Germany to increase the annual production up to 20 million units.
Solon facility, which features 330,000ft² of space, produces a wide range of cosmetic products with an annual capacity of about 150 million units.
The new equipment will allow VariBlend -Cosmax alliance to streamline supply chain efficiencies in the lip gloss category, as well as eye, face and skin care segments.
The slim profile and color blending features of the VariBlend 20mm MiniMix enable to use it as new packaging alternative for products delivered in various strengths.
VariBlend said that its European capabilities complements Cosmax’s US-based high-speed filling.
Hutt produces precision automation systems, which can handle the demanding applications, with optimal assembly cycles.
Based in Seoul of South Korea, Cosmax is engaged in the development and production of beauty products, including skin care, makeup and hair care products.
VariBlend produces custom-blending and dual-dispensing technology that helps customers to meet their demand for product personalization.
