Taiwanese Stainless Steelmakers Are Going to Release Its List Prices for May Next Week

It’s reported that the Taiwanese stainless steelmakers are going to release its list prices for May next week. Industry sources predicted that the Taiwanese stainless producers might cut prices further by around NT$4,000~NT$5,000/ton for May due to lower nickel prices. It’s known that the stainless steel market has remained weak recently due to sluggish demand. Besides, the two major stainless steelmakers in China Taigang Stainless and Baosteel Stainless have both cut export prices US$100/ton and offered special discounts. Accordingly, it’s said that the Taiwanese stainless steel producers would cut prices for May.
