Lammily has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help create 'the world's first realistically proportioned male doll'.
The new Lammily doll is created according to the proportions of the average 19-year-old man and on the first day of the campaign, backers contributed $18,000, 25 per cent of the $70,000 crowdfunding target.
A statement on the campaign page states: 'He may not have a six-pack, but he has a fantastic sense of humour. He may not have the biggest biceps, but he has a big heart. He may not look like a runway model, but he values himself for who he truly is, and always makes sure to pay the same respect to others.'
The Lammily team successfully launched a crowdfunding campaign for a realistic female doll back in 2014 which saw over 13,621 people pre-order over 20,000 Lammily female fashion dolls.
