Keeler to Unveil Its SecuRemote Office Using Bluetooth 4.0 Technology

Keeler, A Division of Belwith Products, will unveil its SecuRemote Office using Bluetooth 4.0 Technology at the Merchandise Mart, during the NeoCon show in Chicago June 11, 2013.

SecuRemote Office is the first office locking system that works directly with your smartphone. The groundbreaking system uses Bluetooth 4.0 and utilizes 128-bit encryption. The Keeler SecuRemote Office lock provides a complete locking and unlocking solution in a single package.

The convenient proximity feature paired with Bluetooth technology allows the office cabinet to lock/ unlock based on permissions established within the smartphone SecuRemote app. When a user leaves the predetermined proximity, the cabinet will automatically lock again, all while the smartphone remains in the user's pocket or purse.

Authorized users can also operate the office locks via the SecuRemote BLE app by simply tapping the lock or unlock icons on the phone screen. The SecuRemote BLE app also gives the ability to change the setting of the office locks, add/delete/modify users, and setup/select/rename devices. Software to monitor lock usage by the user or manager is also available.

The SecuRemote office lock technology works with all standard locking cabinets. It installs with only a screwdriver, and it runs for up to two years on just four AA batteries. A working case will be on display in the Keeler area of the LuxeHome Center on the first floor of the merchandise Mart.
