Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh(HCM) city is all geared up to host the international garment and fabric fair , the Vietnam Saigon Fabric and Garment Accessories Expo, from April 10 to 13, 2014, at the Tai Binh Exhibition and Convention Center.
The four-day fair is organized by the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), with the support of Association Garment, Textile, Embroidery and Knitting of Ho Chi Minh city (AGTEK), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Vietnam National Textile and Garment Corporation (VINATEX) and the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Held annually in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city, the fair is aimed at providing a one stop market for all apparel accessories and fabric buyers in Vietnam as well as many other countries including China, South Korea, Japan, India, Germany, Hong Kong and Italy.
The exhibition also provides an opportunity for Vietnamese entrepreneurs to seek and establish business partnerships with international garment manufacturing enterprises.
More than 500 firms from 22 different companies would be participating in the event to showcase latest products in fabrics, apparel accessories as well as garment machineries and equipments.
Exhibitors at the event would be presenting various products including fabrics such as upholstery, furnishing fabrics, bed linen, quilts, blankets, kitchen linen, table linen, mattresses, as well as wall coverings, and accessories such as fasteners, zippers, ribbons, badges, trimmings, beads, braid embroideries, lace, shoulder pads and more.
