Sealed Air's Cryovac food packaging brand and International Dispensing (IDC) have joined forces to develop the new IDC/Cryovac SpeedFlex Bag-in-Box ultra-high-speed filler,
Italian firm Alfa Laval was responsible to design and produce the filling machine.
According to Sealed Air, the machine serves as an alternative to existing bag-in-box beverage packaging and offers operational efficiency advantages including maximum bag filling speeds.
The machine is equipped with bag-in-box packaging materials and customizable dispensing fitments including IDC technology.
The IDC/Cryovac Speedflex Bag-in-Box system also offers a complete solution for packaging of low-acid food and beverage products such as dairy, flavorings, fruit purees, juices, sauces, smoothies and ice cream mixes, tea and coffees.
