Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steelmaker in Taiwan announced that its consolidated sales revenues totaled NT$3.184 billion in July, soaring by 23.5% from a month ago, boosted by increased steel prices.
In July, the company’s sales of steel products totaled 181,000 tons, jumping by 43.7% from 126,000 tons in June.
In fact, Chung Hung Steel previously expected to sell around 160,000 tons in June but it actually sold more than 180,000 tons, driven by recovering demand from downstream buyers.
