Saudi Cement Company, one of the largest producers of cement in the Kingdom, has announced plans to replace three of its existing cement mills with two new lines that have a higher capacity. The three old mills have a capacity of 360 tons per hour, but the two replacement mills will be able to produce 440 tons per hour, and a more modern design which will improve both efficiency and cement quality, as well as meeting improved environment standards. The replacements will mean that the firm should be able to boost overall capacity by 600, 000 tons a year.
